IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SKIPPERS: The 2011 Hanse Yachts PHRF NE Championships

Event organizers and BYC, EYC and CYC Race Committees have had a number of conversations regarding the viability of holding the 2011 Hanse Yachts PHRF New England Championship this weekend, given the challenges created by Hurricane Irene. Beyond implications for the racing itself, there are numerous factors impacting the decision including the dwindling availability of moorings, the prohibition on rafting by the Marblehead Harbormaster, and the logistics of breaking down docks and running launches for each Waterfront.

A conference call is scheduled in the morning (Thursday, Aug 25th), and a decision will be shared with registered participants by 10:00AM.
