The New Bedford Yacht Club is pleased to announce that its annual Whalers' Race will start on June 1. This traditional early season distance race around Block Island presents an excellent tune-up for Bermuda racers as well as an opportunity for those interested in distance racing to explore this test of seamanship and navigation on an accessible scale. With just over a month to race day, we have fifteen entries and are anticipating one of our largest and most competitive fleets in recent history.
