Dehler 39 Variants
Dehler has built two different 39s under three different
names. The original 39, called the 39 CWS, was designed by the van de Stadt
office.
In 1996 a Judel/Vrolijk design was introduced. Most of these
boats came with a deck mounted sprit that extend the spinnaker tack 2.6 feet
in front of its normal position. In 2004 the 39 was repackaged as the 39SQ,
for Super Quality. The hull is the same but the rig is taller. The SQ does not
have the sprit.
